Description
Common gallinules are black birds with a white under-tail and white streaks on the flanks. The feather on the back is half dark brown and half black. They have a striking red bill with a greenish-yellow tip. Their body is plump, and legs and feet are yellowish green. They are often seen at watersides in Southwest FL.
