Maine Coon cat is Maine state cat, with above average intelligence. It is playful and loyal to family members with dog-like behaviors. It is nicknamed “gentle giant” because it is a large and sociable cat.
Our daughter came back home bringing her three-month old kitten, a male Maine Coon. When it first arrived, it was so cautious that it was nowhere to be seen within my sight. After two days, it was always around me at my feet, behind my laptop, at the armrest of the sofa I was sitting. It followed me everywhere. The photo was taken when it peeked at my laptop keyboard from behind the laptop back.
