Description

Every year white American pelicans migrate to Florida for the winter, hence the nick name "snow birds". This photo was taken November last year at J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island in Fort Myers, FL. The pelicans neatly lined up in two rows mostly facing one direction as if by order, although a few of them disobeyed the order.
